Computerized machine quilting at its best! Machine quilting in a smoke free and pet-free environment on a Handi Quilter (HQ) Sixteen Pro-Stitcher long arm machine. Edge-to-edge computerized quilting from baby up to king size quilts. Price varies depending on the size of your quilt top and will be determined after a consultation. Average cost is 2 cents per square inch with a $40 minimum. All quilts are done in the order in which they are received, typically within two weeks from receipt.
Simple guidelines to follow:
- Backing and batting MUST be 8 inches wider and 8 inches longer than quilt top (i.e., if your quilt top measures 60” x 70”, your backing and batting must be at least 68” x 78”)
- DO NOT pin, baste or join the layers in any way
- Make sure your seams and stitches are secure
- Trim all excess threads on top and backing
- Remove all selvages from edges
- Make sure your quilt top has no wavy borders
- Press your quilt top and backing. Make sure all seams are flat.
Batting:
You may send/bring your own batting or batting can be supplied by Gaydeen for an additional cost. We prefer and can provide Quilter’s Dream Blend batting, which is 70% cotton and 30% polyester for a super-soft finish.
Binding Ready Preparation:
After your quilt is machine quilted by Gaydeen, she will baste stitch the edges and trim your quilt so that when it arrives, it is ready to bind in the manner you choose. Prices for this service are listed below:

Binding:
We can bind your quilt after it is quilted. Cost is based on your service preference. Please contact us for current pricing. You will need to provide the fabric for the binding.
